1. Airline Tickets

  • Cancellation Rules Vary by Airline: Each airline has its own cancellation policies, fare rules, and refund timelines.
  • Refundable vs. Non-Refundable Tickets:
    • Refundable Tickets may be eligible for a full or partial refund.
    • Non-Refundable Tickets usually cannot be refunded, but in some cases may be eligible for credit towards a future trip (airline rules apply).
  • 24-Hour Free Cancellation (when applicable): If your booking qualifies, you may cancel within 24 hours of purchase without penalty.

2. Hotel & Train Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations are subject to the provider's individual policies. Some may allow free cancellations within a specific time frame, while others may charge a fee or be non-refundable.
  • Train tickets are subject to the cancellation policy of the railway carrier (e.g., VIA Rail, Amtrak, etc.).
  • Cancellation eligibility depends on the fare class, route, and carrier rules.
  • Flexible or refundable fares may allow cancellation for a partial or full refund.
  • Non-refundable fares cannot be canceled for a refund but may be eligible for credit or date change (if allowed by the provider).

Cruise Cancellation Policy

  • Cruise bookings are governed by the cruise line’s cancellation terms (e.g., Royal Caribbean, Carnival, MSC, etc.).
  • Cancellation penalties vary based on how far in advance the request is made before the departure date.

General guideline (may vary by cruise line):

  • 91+ days before departure: Full refund (minus service fees)
  • 61–90 days: Partial refund or credit
  • 31–60 days: Heavier penalties may apply
  • 30 days or less: Usually non-refundable

Refund Policy

  • Processing Time: Refunds (if applicable) are typically processed within 7–21 business days. However, it can vary based on the airline, train, or cruise providers.
  • Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during booking.
  • Service Fees: VoyageViste service fees are non-refundable, unless the error was caused on our end.

  • Changes or cancellations are only processed during our regular support hours.
  • Some promotional or discounted fares are strictly non-changeable and non-refundable.
